I GOT A PLACE IN A MASTERCLASS.
It was an interesting feeling receiving the email of confirmation for my place in the masterclass. I then began to become nervous about the masterclass and other people attending especially if they have better capabilities than myself.
When I searched the location for where the masterclass was to take place I wasn't confident (because it looked sort of shady). However first meeting Juliet, she was kind-heart and delightful. She taught the class similarly to an open class I attend every Saturday. After the class we had all been warmed up and in need of a cool down. We then sat down and Simone Goodman suggested us girls ask Juliet our questions. (To win a place in the masterclass you had to devise a question you would ask Juliet if you only had one question) Her responses were amiable and provided us with an insight to her life.

My question for Juliet: What does ballet mean to you?
She spoke of her family and how they all dance. So not only was she in my opinion influenced by it but I believe it was because she was allowed the opportunity to express herself. From a family of a few generations of dancers it was possibly in her blood. Following the Q&A session we proceeded to take photos and have a mini signing autographs time.
I have to say a big thank you to MDM Dance for hosting the masterclass.
Honestly, I think when you meet someone you've seen through social media or online you believe you'll act a certain way and sometimes not do what you plan out to do. This was one of those moments. It's of great comfort to me when someone who genuinely enjoys what they do for a living speak of it in a positive sense.
